We bought and planted rhubbarb last week and then read that you can't pick it till the second year. So, some friends gave us some rhubbarb. Jeremiah tasted it and as you can see it was very sour. He then dipped it in sugar and it was much better. We made strawberry-rhubbarb jam and raspberry-rhubbarb jam, yummy.

I'm so jealous . . . you know strawberry-rhubbarb is my favorite combo in the world. Please pack your car with as many of those jars when you come visit next month!!
