The Wedding is Almost Here

As the wedding approaches, I would just like to thank the Lord for all of His provision. I have prayed from the beginning that the Lord would provide everything necessary for the big day. He has answered prayer and provided everything that we needed. All the little details, that we might have been forgotten , God has reminded us and helped us along. He has brought in the funds and taken care that we could pay cash for everything.
I, also, would like to thank the Lord for my wonderful daughter. We have had 23 happy years together. We are so glad that God has brought Daniel into her life. We are soooo happy for both of them. We know that they will be happy as they start their life together. Praise God for His provision. Hope to see you on Friday.

Practicing Hairdos

We have all been practicing with different hairdos for the upcoming wedding! Don't we look gorgeous?!!!!

Harvest Banquet

Our Harvest Banquet was this past Saturday. We had a wonderful time. Dr. McAllister was our speaker. He is always a blessing to our church family!

Nana's Birthday

For Nana's birthday, Jake and Lauren and the girls came over to celebrate. We always have a blast!!

After the girls second fitting we all went to The Cheesecake Factory for lunch. It's always a blessing to be with them!

Teen Activity for October

This month we had a scavenger hunt and an initiation for our teen activity. We had two new teens come to our teen group. We initiated them with water balloons. It was lots of fun!

Downed Tree Limbs

Wednesday we had a very windy day and three tree branches came down on our deck. It was loud and scary, but the worst part was when Mike and the kids tried to clean up. A tree branch sprung back and hit Mike right in the face. It tore his nose in half. The doctors sewed it back together and he is doing much better. We were able to share tracts and scripture with the ambulance driver and a doctor in the ER. Praise God He is in control.

The Big E

The boys entered their goats in the Big E again this year. They did quite well and had a lot of fun. The best part was having Jake, Lauren and the girls there!

Grace and Abby

We enjoy our grandchildren so much. Can't wait to see Makenna, Michael and Cole soon, too!!! :)

Wedding Plans

A couple of weeks ago we went to get the girls dresses fitted for the wedding. We had lunch together first. Gracie got car sick and slept most of the time! I enjoyed holding her, but felt so bad that she was sick. We go for another fitting this week. The wedding will be here before you know it.
