Josh, Can and Cole's visit

Josh, Can and Cole came for a visit this past weekend. It was so nice to see them. We had a great time. Cole is such a sweetheart. We just enjoyed being around him. Josiah and Jeremiah had a great time with Josh. They miss their big brothers.

Birthday Girl

Sunday was Elisabeth's birthday. Twenty-two years ago we finally got "our girl!" We were thrilled. We are still just as thrilled with Elisabeth. She is a sweet, wonderful daughter. We appreciate her and we are thankful for her. Happy Birthday, Elisabeth Jean. Jake, Lauren and Gracie helped us celebrate. Josiah decorated the cake!

Back to School

Christmas break was nice, but now we are back to school. The boys are working hard. Jeremiah just finished an Astronomy Report that he gave orally and Josiah is working on his oral report on Bee Keeping.

4-H Meeting at our Home

Last week we had a 4-H meeting at our house. We ground wheat and learned how to make homemade bread. We studied where the wheat came from and its value. We also studied chickens, their parts and how to "show" them. We have a big chicken show at the University of Conn. coming up in March.

Guess who came to visit?

Gracie and her parents came over today for a visit. We were thrilled when she ran up to Grampa and put her arms up for him to pick her up. She calls Nana, "Noni". She is such a sweet little thing! She sang for us, too. We enjoy our grandchildren so much!
