New London County 4-H Expo.

Today was the 4-H expo.. It is run by the 4-H kids. The boys were the rabbit barn superindendents. They were in charge of a lot of things, including a lot of paper work. They learned a lot. They also, entered their goats, rabbits, chickens, baked goods, information board and garden vegtables. We had a lot of fun. What a good family day!

Sal's Sunflower

Our garden's are beautiful this year. Jeremiah has a lot of corn and vegetables. Josiah has potatoes, vegetables and even some watermelon. I have vegetables and sunflowers. They are so pretty and the goats will eat the whole plant when they are finished blooming.

New Puppy "Levi"

This week-end Bet and I went to PA to visit Josh and Can, but we had another reason to go. We went to pick up a new puppy. It was a surprise for Dad and the boys. Dad has always wanted a German-shepherd. He was very suprised and happy, as you can see!

While visiting with Josh and Can, Cole decided to call Grampa. They had a deep conversation. As you can see Cole was very serious.

Elisabeth and Mom visited with Josh and Can this Friday and Saturday. They made us supper on Friday and it was DELICIOUS. It was bruschetta, made with eggplant, tomatoes and goat cheese. Thank you!

Army/Navy Teen Challenge

We had our Army/Navy Teen Challenge this week. It was especially fun because Jeremiah is now a teen. Everyone had a blast and 9 girls received Jesus as their personal Saviour. It was worth it all!
