Snow Pictures for Jerid

It is snowing today. The snow didn't stop the boys from going on their run. They have been running for four years now. To keep it from getting boring they try, bringing Lance or even the goats sometimes!

Noni, Aunt Amy and Cousins

Noni, Aunt Amy and kids came for a visit. We had fun! The kids played with goats, chased chickens, road the four wheeler and had a blast together. We sure wish they were closer. Noni made a delicious meal, we played Rook and went for a walk. It was a fun day together! Come back soon!

Merry Christmas Mike and Sal

Yesterday Noni brought down our Christmas present from her and Jidoo. It is a beautiful quilt! Jidoo actually helped with the pinning part when Noni's fingers were sore. I know it was tons of work. We appreciate the love and thought that went into it. Thank-you sooo much! We love it!

Public Speaking Contest

Last night was the Public Speaking Contest at 4-H. There were 23 contestants. Josiah was in the demonstration part and Jeremiah did a regular speech. Jeremiah spoke on Chickens and Josiah on Bees. Jeremiah got first place and goes on to regionals. Josiah got third place. They both did a great job. What an experience! They learned a lot!

Teen Fellowship

We hosted a teen fellowship at our home this Sunday. We had lunch here at our house. Then we had a devotion, practiced Bible quizzing and the teens went to a Nursing Home. Our Assistant Pastor and his wife, head up the Teen Ministry right now. God has called him to pastor another church and they will be leaving us soon. They will be greatly missed. They have been faithful servants here and we know God will use them mightily in Harvard, Illinois.

Maple Syrup, We Hope?!

Since we were so pleased with our honey this past year, we thought we'd try for some maple syrup. Why not? We drilled the holes and out flowed the sap. Now we have to get the sap to syrup. We will let you know how it goes. Another learning adventure!

Drama Ministry

Jeremiah is involved with our Drama Ministry at church. Tonight they did a program called "Heroes of the Faith". It is about Hebrews 11. Our Pastor is preaching through the book of Hebrews. We had several of our 4-H friends visit tonight to see the program.

Bible Quizzing

Josiah and the teens at church will be participating in Bible quizzing with other New England churches. We had a practice at our house recently. They are working hard. We will let you know how they do. They are studying the book of Daniel, chapters 4, 5 and 6.
